Password Reset - Took place at 8am

If your customers have had their password reset this morning by our script the instructions for Yealink desk phones are as follows. Please ensure this is attempted before logging a ticket

1. Deskphone Reset:

Hold down the OK button a few seconds, and then the display will appear warning "Reset to Factory", press OK again to confirm the reset. 

The handset will reboot and following the first reboot will then be connected to our new provisioning redirection service. 

  • Firstly the new platform will check the firmware version of the handset. If the version of the handset needs to be upgraded the platform will arrange this. Important The phone should not be disconnected from the power supply/network cable.
  • Following the firmware upgrade or immediately if the phone is already on a stable firmware upgrade the phone will download it's configuration details and connect to the platform.
